About Us
Founded in 2015, SOEL Music is a vibrant musical initiative under the charity SOEL Connect, inspired by scriptures such as Isaiah 41:17-18, John 4:10-22, Isaiah 61:1-6, and particularly John 4:14, which speaks of the living water that Jesus offers: “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
SOEL, standing for Springs of Eternal Life, are a collective of creatives with a powerful message of hope, wrapped in melodies and unique expressions of faith. Our identity is rooted in a deep desire to restore brokenness within our community and break down barriers of separation, through the overflowing sound of gospel music.
At SOEL Connect, our mission is simple: to provide opportunities for people to encounter God. We aim to release a sound that brings hope, joy, and demonstrates the love of God. We do this by creating spaces, open to all, where anyone in the community can come and experience God's presence.
This vision remains at our core, but over the years, it has flourished, expanding into new ways of connecting with individuals and organisations. Through these encounters, we continue to foster relationships that empower, uplift, and unite the body of Christ.

Our Story

The Israelites, despite witnessing God’s miracles, often complained in times of hardship. Rather than trusting in Jehovah Jireh, they focused on their immediate lack. Like them, we sometimes forget God’s past faithfulness and allow discontentment to cloud our worship. True worship begins with recognising God’s provision and faithfulness, worshiping Him not for what we seek but for who He is.
Worship is more than music, instruments, or an emotional experience, it is an intimate encounter with God. Matt Redman’s The Heart of Worship reminds us that God desires more than a song; He desires our hearts. Worship is an act of surrender, inviting the Holy Spirit to shift our focus from our circumstances to God’s greatness.
At one point, I found myself fixated on what I had not achieved, comparing my life to others. In that moment, the Holy Spirit whispered, “I have given you a sound.” This revelation transformed my perspective. I realised that worship is the greatest gift God has given us. It is not about accomplishments but about offering our hearts to Him.
As members of Soel Connect, we carry the responsibility to cultivate and share this divine sound of worship. Worship transcends boundaries, drawing hearts closer to God. It is not confined to a church but is a way of life, an ongoing response to His majesty. May our worship ignite a revival, leading others into God’s presence. Let us embrace this sacred calling and become ambassadors of true worship.
